IGTAMPE DOS NT (6010) EMERGENCY FIX

Patch has been updated for IUC to download and to the current NT download. This patch is for users who made a new install or upgraded from Tucan. The IGTDOS.MARKER file was not generated, which means the Bad Boot Directory Prevention System (BBDPS) would activate. This file has been removed, and will no longer be required. Download any update disk or fresh install disk now to fix this issue.

Igtampe DOS NT FINAL (Build 6009)

After just about a week of polishing, and a few new features, the Final version of Igtampe DOS NT is finally released.

Final changelog for this version:

• Added a Message Board System
• Apps MSG and AddMSG have been added
• MSG handles reading messages
• AddMSG handles management of subscribed Message Boards.
• Documentation on creating a Message Board will be delivered upon request.
• Nabas checks for messages on bootup.

Guys Igtampe DOS has had a 2 year development cycle. I just no longer have any ideas for the project. As of this post, Igtampe DOS is no longer in Active development

Rest assured, you can email me with ideas, suggestions, and fixes that I could do and I will do them, but no new versions will come out as is. These will only be Patches or service packs.

Igtampe DOS NT (Version 9.0) BETA (Build 6008) RELEASE CANDIDATE

Hello everybody! Today, I'm excited to announce Igtmape DOS NT build 6008, one of the most tightly packed releases to date! This is a RELEASE CANDIDATE, which means Igtampe DOS NT is likely going to be build 6009 or 6010. In any case, there's loads of stuff in this beta that are new so here we go!

CHANGELOG:

• Igtampe DOS got a MESSAGE-BOARD SYSTEM
• It's flexible, and in the next release I will attach a configurator to add more locales.
• Comes subscribed to IGTMSG, a message-board for Igtampe DOS users. It'll be used for emergency communications, such as those I'd wish I'd be able to do with build 6006, and a nice hello to you guys.
• NABAS downloads the messages and the new MSG app reads them
• MSG is argcompatible. Use "MSG IGTMSG" to open messages from IGTMSG
• Changed Default notification SFX
• Updated Infinity Text to 1.1
• Removed the hyphens used when adding blank lines.
• Updated Backup's NABAS Applet
• Gave Backup and Restore a visual tuneup
• You can now access the standard welcome page from a beta using "WELCOME NOBETA"

Igtampe DOS NT (Version 9.0) BETA (Build 6006)

(It's been almost a year and I finally got you guys another beta)

This is an emergency fix from 6003, and won't be downloaded automatically. Many of you may have noticed that the online build is posted to be 6005, but it simply won't download. This update fixes that. There was an error in my capitalization of the URL to download, as I've now learned that my web hosting service requires proper capitalization.

CHANGELOG:

• Fixed the Internet Update Checker
• Added safeguards to prevent launching internal batch files (like Verto, NABAS, and ACE) from Igtampe DOS (as this will cause a crash)
• Added RELOAD command
• Reloads all of Igtampe DOS (Including Variables and restarting NABAS)

Not too much done over about 6 months since announcement but it's finally here!

New Work on Igtampe DOS NT

Hey guys, Such a long time! Anyway I'd just like to let you know that I'm working on the next release of Igtampe DOS, Igtampe DOS NT. I'm working on a new command interpreter engine called VERTO that separates the command into CMD, ARG (all Args), ARG1-8 (Args 1 through 8). This paves the way to faster Arguement launching straight from the command prompt. Calc, Speak (Now Say), NOTIF, and others have been converted for using the VERTO engine. The Source Version also was bumped up to support VERTO as core and any apps previously using the ARG structure should work. Will update maybe later today with a beta release.

Igtampe DOS Tucan is here!

IT'S HERE! Finally it's here. Tucan. I added some last minute things to it along with some abbreviation of the Start up and Shutdown Animations and the logo usage of Tucan. OK, I've just realized that it isn't Tucan but it is Toucan. Oh well. :| Anyway, "Tucan" Now has automated Internet Update Checking at start up using NABAS, and as said earlier a BIG abbreviation to the code in Start up and Shutdown. Well, perhaps not THAT massive, I mean i only shaved off 13Kb. Again, Oh well. :|

Parco, a more powerful version of explorer

This is another program that I've developed. I'll be eventually adding it to Igtampe DOS, but since nothing has been going on for now, I decided to post it as a Package. I'll be updating Permutatio to also have this for browsing a new shared folder soon. Parco also has something you couldn't do with explorer before, Use it to browse Network Directories (Like \\MY-PC\USERS\PICTURES). Not only that, it comes with it's own Trash bin, a Download folder (For network locations, mostly for Permutatio), and a File clipboard. Parco is still rather experimental but for the most part functional. Tell me what you think!

For the next Igtampe DOS Tucan BETA, I think NABAS is going to start checking online for updates, and checking for packages and install them for you, I think, IDK, Perhaps.

Igtampe DOS Tucan BETA (Build 5282) ANOTHER MILESTONE

GUYS GUYS GUYS! SERIOUSLY THIS IS IMPORTANT. IGTAMPE DOS CAN NOW CHECK FOR UPDATES THROUGH THE INTERNET!!!! This was tested on Permutatio that also has that system now. I added the IUC Command (Internet Update Checker). This will download the latest IGTAMPE DOS Version from it's website if it is of a higher version, then start it (If you're on Windows 8+ and have explorer as default for ISOs this will mount it automatically). NABAS Does the rest. I've also included the link to the new version of Permutatio that allows you to do this. Speaking of which, Permutatio also is now a 2 way street, and has a messaging system. Enough of that though go download it now!

I'm still having problems with the HotspotCreator. Perhaps it's because it's name is shared by some other program? I Don't know. I'll keep you posted.

Some more apps I wanted to share

Yeah, Here is that Other stuff i was talking about. Here are some programs I worked with for a while. I'll dedicate a small subsection for each. Here it goes!

VOX

Vox is a small bit of Voice generating software. It uses your computer's voice, so if you've got 2K or XP, you get Sam, If you've got Vista or 7, you get Vista, and if you've got 8 or 8.1, you get David by default, though 8 also comes with Ziria (?) And Hazel. So yeah. It was first a batch file, but i decided that since it was mostly VBS, I could port it to VBS. And so I did. I'm very glad with the results. I eventually compiled it to an EXE. That's what you'll download. I'll give you a full feature list:

FEATURES:

• Fully functional speaking (How natural it sounds depends on your OS's Voice)
• A Completely useless tutorial
• Some short abbreviations.

HOROLOGOLIUM

Horologolium takes what I used in the Voice Generator and gives it an actual purpose. It tells you the time with a little jingle every 15 minutes.

Features:

• Useful alert every 15 Minutes. Don't loose track of time!
• A Jingle and voice
• Control over how the voice says the time (The Local time is...)

HotspotCreator

One of the easiest and FREE Wireless Hotspot creators. Doesn't share another internet connection though, but that's simple enough in the Control Panel (Go to Network sharing center, then network adapters, and once your hotspot is created, select the connection you want to share, Right click and select properties, sharing tab, Share with the Microsoft Virtual LAN Adapter). Anyway, This is also an EXE I Compiled. It is rather simple, so maybe you'd like something else, but for Windows 8 Users that want their AdHoc Making ability back, it's perfect.

Features:

• Create a Hotspot with WPA2 Personal Encryption, with whatever you want as a Password, and your own SSID (Network name).

What's In The Box:

Notes:

• This program requires Administrative Privileges.

Note, I'm having problems with my HotSpot Creator on GDrive, I'll be posting a download link soon.

PERMUTATIO

A pretty useful program. It combines WaitCom and Colloquor, along with Vocatio. It's a Client to Client program, no server required. Connect to a PC, Send a file or two, launch WaitCom and run some commands, send another file, and start a chat with this other computer. Once you're done, disconnect. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Permutatio changes VERY Frequently. I'll be posting an update once in a while. This is Version 1.1 with ID 10. If the person you're connecting has a higher version that your's, Permutatio will automatically update to that version, and connect. 

Permutatio also has a command line mode. For example, Connect to a computer to make a WaitCom Session, and then immediately disconnect.

Features:

• Connect to another computer and exchange information (Permutatio)
• Launch a WaitCom Session and do remote commands
• Launch a Chat Session and discuss important Blah
• Security Meassures
• Unless you say so, no one connect to your computer, or start a WaitCom Session. However, they may still download your version of Permutatio to update, and once connected to you, may also send files and start a chat session.

What's in the box:

• Permutatio.bat
• BASE
• Base file for the Message generator which asks Yes and No Questions.

Notes:

• Permutatio makes Several Files (M.vbs, Welcome.vbs, S.vbs, C.vbs...). These are small though, so if you're claustrophobic with all these files, just make a shortcut right outside it's folder.
